Darnetta 'Netta Jo' Johnson Brown

I lived in Gallup New Mexico for 30 years. My first job was with the BIA at Crownpoint and then Ft, Wingate. I met and married Jim when I was working at the Ciniza Refinery, El Paso Natural Gas Products. From there I worked for the New Mexico State Police as a dispatcher and later worked for the Gallup Medical Center as a medical assistant. I was trained on the job, so was able to do everything but give shots. Working in the lab was my favorite job. I also worked with a GYN and enjoyed all that went on with that job. Especially going to the hospital with the Dr. when he delivered the babies. That was great!!
When Jim was put on disability, we moved to Arizona for a few years, and by that time, my brother and his wife and my sister and her husband had moved back to Oklahoma. so we decided to move here and be near them.
