Bob!  What a beautiful family you and Betty have!  You are so blessed!  Thank you so much for sharing!  Would love you two to come to the lunch on the 12th at Tia Amo's.  Gordona

Bob, I enjoyed your post, in fsct I have enjoyed all your activity on our WRHS website. Though our paths crossed in various ways and diverse times, getting acquqinted was the result of the website activity. I admire the example you are leaving for the rest of us, and if I were to leave a label, or a one-word description for you. it would be "Exemplary".

Bob, I would say that Mr. Clerkley "nailed" it. Also, I echo your sentiments entirely about meetings, but I was a good fit for teaching Sunday Schlool for 40 years, both kids and adults; well. I should say "kids" of every age. I learned more from the children than I did from my contemporaries. One instance that comes to mind, I did not permit the youngsters to chew bubble gum in class, but one boy, being reared by his elderly grandmother was a perpetual handful and potential disccipline problem. I had just begun reading our Scripture for the lesson, and was interrupted by a loud "plop" and dicovered that James had prematurely attempted blowing a bubble with a huge, ill-prepared wad of still sugary, syrupy, sticky gum. I held out my hand, and he came forward, and oblgingly, deposited the messy mass in my palm. I pulled two or three tissues from the nearest box and did the disposal duties, and returned to the lesson. After somewhat regaining my composure, I turned to James and said, "Now see, you not only embarrased yourself, and me, but you caused me to lose my place. Does anyone remember where we were?" At this point, a small voice began quoting, practically verbatim, the last three verses I had read. It was James.
